The Holy Spirit can enter into the heart of an individual only if that person opens his or her heart. Thus our agency is always protected.
If our hearts are skeptical or insensitive, if we are doubtful or apathetic to the point we dismiss out of hand the word which is shared with us then the process of faith is left dormant. It can go no further.
Give seed that the word may be planted in your heart....

Faith is knowing the sun will rise, lighting each new day.
Faith is knowing the Lord will hear my prayers each time I pray.
Faith is like a little seed:
If planted it will grow.
Faith is a swelling within my heart.
When I do right, I know.
